What is Ketamine?
Latest Treatment for Anxiety and Depression in Psychotherapy
At Mind in Motion, we offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy as part of our commitment to providing innovative mental health solutions. While our sister company, E'tat d'âme, facilitates the service, you can expect the same high-quality care and expertise throughout your psychedelic-assisted therapy experience. We're also in partnership with Journey Clinical, who's medical team supports you on all medical aspects. This approach allows us to continue offering the best possible treatment while meeting all regulatory standards.
Ketamine is a legal, safe and effective medicine used to treat a variety of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety and PTSD. Ketamine has rapidly-acting antidepressant and mood-enhancing effects, which can begin to take effect within 1-2 hours after treatment and last for up to 2 weeks. It works by blocking the brain’s NMDA receptors as well as by stimulating AMPA receptors, which are thought to help form new synaptic connections and boost neural circuits that regulate stress and mood. Ketamine has also been shown to enhance overall neuroplasticity for lasting symptom improvement.
Ketamine can be administered in a variety of ways, we only use the sublingual lozenge form. Administration happens under expert medical supervision in a safe environment of our office in Queens and Albany.

Studies show mood and neurological benefits can persist for up to two weeks post-experience.
