    Orientation/clinical interests/specialties

Drawing from her distinctive and comprehensive training background, Erika seamlessly blends a wide-ranging and creative outlook with the well-established principles of psychoanalysis, particularly emphasizing active and empathetic listening. She firmly believes that there’s no universal therapeutic approach that fits everyone. Instead, she adeptly adapts her methods to suit each individual’s unique needs, employing a flexible and personalized approach.

Erika accompanies her clients on a journey of self-discovery, delicately unraveling unconscious threads often intricately woven into early memories and childhood experiences. With a gentle touch, she brings these hidden threads to the surface, seamlessly connecting them to the ”here-and-now” for exploration within a safe and nurturing environment. This process fosters not only personal growth but also a profound sense of self-fulfillment.

    Personal Interests

When she’s not counseling, Erika passionately dedicates her time to delving deeper into the realm of early childhood development. Her pursuits involve crafting imaginative and enjoyable plays as well as artistic projects specifically tailored for babies and children. These endeavors aim to not only bolster motor skills but also foster psychological growth in a playful and creative manner.

Our therapists may have a waitlist of 1-3 months before ongoing weekly sessions can begin, but we understand how important it is to feel heard and supported as you start therapy. To help you take the first step, we offer first Full session or a Free 10-minute video call, so called “chemistry check”, as soon as possible. This gives you the space to connect with the therapist, reflect on whether the relationship feels like the right fit, and decide—at your own pace—whether to wait for an available spot. We believe therapy is a deliberate process, and this time of decision-making is an essential part of it.

We’re in-network with the following insurance providers: Aetna, Cigna, Optum, UnitedHealthcare, Medicare.
