    Orientation/clinical interests/specialties

Eunwoo has experiences working with individuals who suffer from depression, anxiety, PTSD, bereavement, and relationship issues. She uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, relaxation techniques, and crisis intervention depending on the client’s needs and goals. Impacted by social work values and philosophies, Eunwoo’s approaches to counseling is based on person-in-environment perspectives, in which a therapist understands the client’s problems holistically in the light of their cultural and environmental contexts. She also uses a strength-based approach, collaborating with clients and empowering them to acknowledge their internal strengths and resilience to get through their difficulties.

    Personal Interests

When she’s not working, Eunwoo enjoys listening to music. She would choose any genre depending on her mood of the day, but her favorites are old K-pop and original soundtracks of movies or TV shows. She also loves to be in nature, so she would spend some weekends hiking/ trekking in mountains or going to watch the sunset.

Our therapists may have a waitlist of 1-3 months before ongoing weekly sessions can begin, but we understand how important it is to feel heard and supported as you start therapy. To help you take the first step, we offer first Full session or a Free 10-minute video call, so called “chemistry check”, as soon as possible. This gives you the space to connect with the therapist, reflect on whether the relationship feels like the right fit, and decide—at your own pace—whether to wait for an available spot. We believe therapy is a deliberate process, and this time of decision-making is an essential part of it.

We’re in-network with the following insurance providers: Aetna, Cigna, Optum, UnitedHealthcare, Medicare, CDPHP.
